BOURBON EVENT SATURDAY EVENING AT MID-YEAR CONVENTION IN INDEPENDENCE!

The Unofficial yet Official OSMA Bourbon Tasting Committee will host a tasting of mystery bourbons with prizes for the tasters with the best matches, and a chance to win a grand prize basket of 5 or more premium bourbon bottles at the close of the bourbon tasting event in the ballroom Saturday evening.

BOURBON TASTING CONTEST

A tasting contest will take place on Saturday evening between 5 and 8:30 p.m. in the ballroom.

For a $20 entry fee, each participant tastes 5 blind samples of bourbon and tries to match the bourbons to a list of 10 possible bourbons. Any participants that perfectly match, or if no perfect matches, the tasters that have the highest number matched are put into a mini drawing for 5 chances to win a bottle of one of the tasted bourbons as a prize for being a top matching taster.

Best taster winners (five) will be drawn at 8:45pm in the ballroom, and the prizes awarded for the tasting contest.

All participants in the tasting are automatically entered into the grand prize drawing for the five-bottle bourbon basket.

BOUBON BASKET RAFFLE

A single prize basket of premium bottles of bourbon will be on display in the ballroom hallway during the convention, and at the bourbon tasting event Saturday in the ballroom.

Chances will be sold between the meetings for the bourbon raffle basket for $15 each.

Entries for the prize basket can be purchased for those that don't want to participate in the tasting or want extra entries. There is no limit to the number of entries that can be purchased, and one entry comes with participating in the tasting contest.

The bourbon basket drawing will be held at approximately 9PM at the conclusion of the bourbon tasting contest winner drawings.

WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU IN THE BALLROOM SATURDAY NIGHT!
