MOOSEHEART ACTIVITIES CENTER REPORT

Mooseheart Community and Moose Nation,

We were informed today from the Board of Directors at the Construction Industry Service Corporation (CISCO), that they have selected the Mooseheart Activity Center- “MAC” as the award recipient for the category of New Construction in 2022 – representing Chicago and Suburbs (Below $20M) category. This is an amazing award and recognition for Mooseheart. We will be honored by attending a breakfast on February 10^th, to receive the recognition and award. How awesome is that!!!

This project wouldn’t have been possible without the thoughtfulness, kindness, and support of our Moose membership, who provided the entire funding amount, and then some! Our members are truly amazing and we should be forever grateful of their support and work behind the scenes for our benefit. They always “Make It Happen” for our every need. Thank you Moose!

Also, we recognize Larson and Darby, (Architecture, Engineering, and Interiors) for providing their award winning services of design (both of the building and interior spaces). We are grateful of their expertise and efforts, and couldn’t be more impressed with their work. They truly had a great vision for this project and it shows!

Lastly, we want to praise the efforts of our General Contractor, RC Wegman, who provided all of the construction work. We are very appreciative of their experience and services they provided to our new construction project and for meeting all the deadlines in completing the project on-time and with such detail. They truly “Made It Happen!” Incredible work!!

I would be remiss if I failed to mention our Facilities Director, John Lochbaum for all of his efforts in overseeing the project from start to finish. His day to day supervision of the project and communication with our contracted vendors was another key to our recognition and success. Thank you!
